Okay, so Nintendo doesn’t like that you play SNES games on the Nintendo DS line, but if you buy a flash cart like the M3i Zero, or others like Acekard, R4i, etc you can not only play SNES but also NES games, GBA. A lot of people use it to play Nintendo DS ROMs but I do not encourage you to do so, unless you own that specific game. Yeah, this was at Otakon. But you know what? It might as well be ANY convention EVER. Chat room /b/ is always full and there are so many people out there with an NDS that the natural thing to do is chat. It’s pretty awesome.
And the download play also rocks. It’s like a free version of GameTap or Xbox Live Arcade or something!
I also open up PictoChat if I get to a movie early and they have that dumb trivia stuff on-screen. There’s usually ate least two or three other people with an NDS. And the cool thing is that with such a broad appeal it’s not just kids that have it. Hell, I’m not a child and I play it all the time.
